Great for my fish
I got these a while ago for my automatic fish feeder, and so far itâs been working great. My goldfish was able to adapt pretty well from eating the flake version to eating the pallet version, and overall they seem to enjoy the pellet version better. Beyond that, they also worked very well with my automatic fish feeder, even better than the ones that feed flakes since the pallets have more mass. They also last pretty long so thatâs a plus. The best part is these are also significantly cheaper than the store bought ones while at the same quality. Overall very good product for goldfishes.

Feeder goldfish in water feature
I keep inexpensive feeder goldfish in my water feature to control snails, mosquito larvae. These floating pellets maintain good color and train the fish to come up for viewing. I prefer these to all other foods for my needs.

The usual fish food I buy at Walmart is frequently out of stock so I had to resort to buying from Amazon. I was a bit hesitant because the packaging was different, but description was the same here. Turns out Amazon is using an old image, but I got exactly what I needed. Overall, very happy with these and I did order multiple.

We’ve tried several different foods for our fancy goldfish including some expensive brands recommended on the net. So far, these seem better than most: First, here is no waste like I get with flakes and /or sinking pellets. These 2mm ish round, multicolored pellets float and the fish gobble them down . Because they don’t dissolve, or hide in the gravel , they get get eaten immediately. This keeps the tank from getting fouled with uneaten food. It also allows me to control exactly how much each of our three ( 5″ish) goldfish get. (Generally, each fish gets 6-10 pellets, 3-4 times a day so one jar lasts for months!) The fish seem happy, healthy and their colors are great. The water stays pretty clear too. I’ve deducted a star only because the packaging shown (with the “clear water formula” banner ) is not what got delivered. The ingredient label seems to match though.

Clean Water Finally
Couldnât believe how one product could clear the water in our 60 gallon tank. We recently got goldfish, to add to the other fish, that are really large & kind of look like Koi fish. We bought another brand of food pellets & they just immediately sunk to the bottom of the tank. The water turned so cloudy you couldnât see any of the fish! After using this, the pellets stayed on top of the water and sank slowly. The fish really like the food and the water cleared up in just of a couple of days. We really recommend this fish food.

Came without hard plastic cap.
It came with only the disposable foil seal on it. No cover. Not a huge deal but it will affect how long the food is good for.
